ST. ALBANS--Chow Bella presents Carol Ann Jones with Will Patton tomorrow evening beginning at 7 p.m. ON STAGE LIVE
"Will and I will play songs from my first album 'Out of the Blue'," Ms. Jones said, "and from my second, soon to be released album, 'Hope,' and also some crowd pleasin' covers!"
GRAND ISLE--Grand Isle House Concerts Spring Series present Kallet and Larsen in a house concert on Friday at 7 p.m.
Cindy Kallet is a singer, guitarist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Singer Grey Larsen plays the Irish flute and tin whistle, as well concertina, fiddle, piano and harmonium. They weave songs and tunes of vibrant color and rich texture.

COLCHESTER--The Cornell University Chorus brings their 2011 Tour of Canada and the Northeast to the Elley Long Music Center tomorrow evening at 7:30 p.m. for a joint concert with Bella Voce Vermont.
This concert will include pieces by Daniel Friderici, Hans Leo Hassler, David Conte, Daniel E. Gawthrop, and Johannes Brahms, in English, Latin, Italian, French, and German. Bella Voce will perform several selections on the program and the two choirs will combine to perform Laudi Alla Vergine Maria by Giuseppi Verdi.
The Cornell University Chorus performs music that covers eight centuries in every genre and is one of the premier treble ensembles in the country. They have performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center, under Nadia Boulanger, Michael Tilson Thomas, Eugene Ormandy, and Julius Rudel. Maestro Scott Tucker conducts.
Bella Voce is a group of 40 women committed to promoting choral music of quality through performances of high artistic value. Their members serve as role models to women singers of all ages and promote the value of singing as a life long avocation.

BURLINGTON--The 9th Annual Cabin Fever Reliever benefit dance/concert features Starline Rhythm Boys, Grammy–nominated Bill Kirchen and Too Much Fun, Li’l Mo and the Monicats, and Leroy Preston in the Emerald Grand Ballroom at the Sheraton on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The rockabilly dance party is a benefit for the Cancer Patient Support Program.

BURLINGTON--Fiddleheads and Young Tradition Vermont present an Irish Fiddle Workshop with Kevin Burke at the Burlington Violin Shop on Monday at 6 p.m. The workshop is for intermediate to advanced players and reservations are required.

The e-Vermont Community Broadband Project is now active in 24 Vermont communities. CREATIVE ECONOMY
e-Vermont is one of only twelve projects nationwide to have received first round funding from the federal Sustainable Broadband Adoption grants program and one of only two that takes this community-based approach typical to Vermont.
It is important to note that this program is not laying cable or stringing wires. The 24 Vermont towns are among the first to explore how high speed Internet tools can be harnessed as a tool for addressing local challenges in business, government, and education.
Arlington, Sunderland, and Sandgate have added technology to the celebration of their 250th Town Charter Anniversaries this year. A small business in Cambridge has the first of the web sites launched through the Vermont Small Business Development Corporation. Bristol, Ludlow, Newport, Poultney, and West Rutland are each exploring public access Wi-Fi zones in their town centers (the community-managed Wireless Woodstock Wi-Fi zone went live over the summer).
Although none of the Franklin County Towns have gone public with activities in this initiative, many of our artists and organizations are already online and some Town libraries already have free WiFi. This county needs more expansion than starter help.
The NEFA Creative Communities Exchange, a New England Creative Economy WorkShare event will be hosted by New England Foundation for the Arts and the Berkshire Creative at MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachussetts, in May.
About 30 workshops will focus on successful creative economy work so participants can take tools home to use here. The conference is meant for anyone spearheading creative initiatives here in Franklin County including Town or city creative and cultural leaders, city planners, creative economy consultants, entrepreneurs, funders, researchers, and students, Chamber of Commerce members, economic developers, artists, business people. In short, anyone interested in successful creative economy development.

The next NEFA Public Art Discussion Series session, RFQ: A Mock Panel Review, will be held at NEFA in Boston, next Thursday, March 28, at 5:30 p.m. This panel will use real submissions to see how the public art panel review process works, learn how and why an application advances to the final round, and hear the questions and conversations panelists have about the materials.
