FAIRFIELD--Art at BNML takes place at the Bent Northrop Memorial Library today at 3 p.m. ART ON THE WALLS
Make a mask for the upcoming spring concert with artist Amanda Vella. Registration is mandatory as class is limited to 12 participants. Call 802.827.3945 to register.
ST ALBANS--The Northwestern Medical Center Gallery hosts professional photographer Jessica Remmey of Grand Isle this month. Ms. Remmey is exhibiting Vermont landscapes of spring, summer, and fall.
The self-taught photographer looks for beauty in ordinary settings. She always has a camera available to document travel, outings, and the memorable small moments of daily life.
Ms. Remmey started with Vermont landscapes, expanded to children's portraits and weddings. She often has a photojournalistic style. Her photos have been exhibited by the Burlington South End Art Hop, Milton Artists' Guild Annual Show, S.P.A.C.E. Gallery Small Works, Champlain Islands Open Farm and Studio Tour 2010-2013 and more. She is a cover artist for the Islander newspaper.
The show continues through the end of June.
ST. ALBANS--Twiggs presents Troy Millette this evening at 6:30 p.m. ON STAGE LIVE
The local singer/songwriter weaves his comedy around his original material on stage. He has shared the stage with Rusty DeWees, Wayne Warner, Steve Hartmann, Dionysia, Jack Grimmer, and more.
Then Dollar Past Sunset takes the stage on Friday at 7 p.m.
Billed as "not your typical jam band," this group blends free form improv with folk-rock music. The show will have an unexpected mix of blues lines, spacey bliss jams, and alluring melodies.

PLATTSBURGH--Naked Turtle grants some Justice on Friday the 13th at 9:30 p.m. with Scott Belisle on bass and backup vocals; Todd Dunn, lead and rhythm guitar; Gary Greeno, lead vocals; Mike Stella, drums; and Scott Guptill, rhythm guitar and backup vocals.

SOUTH HERO--Carol Ann Jones kicks off Music in the Meadow 2014 in a solo show at the Blue Paddle Bistro on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
The Blue Paddle has limited seating and a small bar so call ahead (802.372.4814) to assure a seat.
CASTLETON--Concerts on the Green presents the full Will Patton Ensemble on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
"We'll be returning for our 12th year to one of the oldest and best music series in Vermont," Mr. Patton said. The ensemble is Mr. Patton, David Gusakov, Dono Schabner, Clyde Stats, Gabe Jarrett, with Anna Patton on clarinet.
EAST FAIRFIELD--The Meeting House on the Green presents a concert with the Will Patton Quartet with special guest Anna Patton in the Summer Evenings with Vermont Treasures series on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The quartet features David Gusakov, Dono Schabner, and Clyde Stats. "I'm really excited about having my A-list players performing for my home town folks!" Mr. Patton said.
Mr. Patton has been leading bands since he was thirteen. His bands have opened for Van Morrison, Ray Charles, Bonnie Raitt, Earl Scruggs, Maynard Ferguson, John McLaughlin and Toots Thielemans. He has shared the stage with Roy Eldridge and Mose Allison.
His travels have taken him to Rio, Paris and the Caribbean, as well as all over the U.S. and Canada, to play rock and roll, folk, bluegrass, jazz, and Brazilian music, his lifelong passion.
The 1876 church is an architectural, social, and spiritual anchor of East Fairfield thanks to marriages, baptisms, funerals, candlelight services, and many a roast beef dinner. The non-profit Fairfield Community Center Association acquired the Meeting House for essential services and enrichment programs to the region. They have rebuilt the roof on the shed addition over the old tracker organ, removed the chimney, repaired of eaves and soffits, installed a new electrical service, wiring, and lights, removed the old furnace and oil tanks, and leveled and stabilized the front entrance. These concerts will benefit the restoration of this historic landmark for future generations.
"This is one of the sweetest sounding acoustic rooms in Vermont," Mr. Patton said.

SAVE THE DATE--The Opera House at Enosburg Falls presents Heather McKeown's 25th Highbrow to Hoedown next Saturday, June 21. Take off is at 7 p.m. sharp.
There will be food, and raffles, and art, JetBlue tickets, and much more. Admission is about $10 or more if you have it for this good cause. Buy a ticket. Buy two, they're cheap. Badger your friends to buy some, too.
ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE (June 16)--The Enosburg Falls cooperative gallery will host a jury session for Vermont artists. The gallery has a limited number of memberships available for two- and three-dimensional artists for the 2014-15 year. The Artist in Residence is an artist-owned and operated cooperative gallery that serves northern Vermont and southern Quebec. It has monthly showcases, annual dues, no fees, and each member devotes a few days each year to operate the gallery. JUNE-JULY ART DEADLINES

FIGMENT BOSTON (June 16)--This unique exhibit welcomes works in every medium including sculpture, installation, performance, music, workshops, games, experiences, site-specific pieces, social experiments, and anything else you can dream of for the 2014 event at the Rose Kennedy Greenway. This is not a traditional art event. FIGMENT Boston works will be climbed on by 15 children at a time, kicked, and walked on for most hours of the day, for two consecutive days. There is limited shelter against rain and water will gather in low-lying areas. There are still some fund raising opportunities available. Click here for more info.
ANNUAL FINE ART COMPETITION (July 7)--The National Art Museum of Sport juried competition is open to artists who create fine art with a sport subject in 2D (Not Photography), 3D, and Photography. 67TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL AQUEOUS OPEN (July 14)--The Pittsburgh Watercolor Society juried exhibition in October offers cash awards and a WEBB Workshop.
