The National September 11 Memorial & Museum will pay tribute to those who were killed in the terrorist attacks. This site tracks the progress on the Ground Zero construction. national911memorial.org
The World Trade Center Site Memorial includes a virtual exhibit of all 5,201 submissions. wtcsitememorial.org
The NYC.COM site includes a street view that shows off terrific technology, user reviews, map and directions, links to nearby attractions, and an upload area to add photos of the World Trade Center Memorial. NYC.COM

ENOSBURG FALLS--The Opera House at Enosburg Falls presents Scott Helmer's Support Your Cause Tour, helping charities raise $1 million, on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. SUPPORT
Mr. Helmer does a solo-acoustic set of rock and country favorites along with original material from his new CD, Wake Me When It's Over, and covers of John Mellencamp, The Eagles, George Strait, and more. He has opened for Heart, Eddie Money, 3 Doors Down, and Big Country. The Illinois native is traveling the country to raise money for historic landmarks and has included the Opera House on his list; all proceeds benefitting the Opera House directly.
Opening the evening will be performances by singer/songwriter Emily Butson and St. Albans singing sensation Rosie Newton.

ST. ALBANS--The St. Albans Historical Society and Museum presents the Vermont Civil War Songbook in the Bliss Room on Friday at 7 p.m. READYING THE RAID
Dressed in period costume, singer/researcher Linda Radtke will brings the Civil War period here to life through songs from Vermont during the Civil War period plus observations and letters from Vermont soldiers. These rarely-heard songs include Grafted into the Army, Yankee Robinson at Bull Run, and Neath the Pines of Vermont in which a soldier returns home to die, a satirical song about Jefferson Davis, and sentimental ballads from Vermont during the period.
Pianist Arthur Zorn accompanies Ms. Radtke in a program for all audiences.
The northernmost land action of the Civil War took place in St. Albans in 1864. The 150th Anniversary commemoration of the raid, a Top 10 Vermont Event, starting Wednesday and continuing through September 21 has the music and action of the period including the music, the art, the theater, and the 2nd South Carolina String Band leading a promenade.

CALAIS--The Kent Museum will feature several Gail Salzman paintings in Reflections, an exploration that uses different mediums including oil, poetry, and sound installation. There will be an opening reception on Saturday at 3 p.m. ART ON THE WALLS
Ms. Salzman, after an annual retreat in coastal Maine and travel, is back in her studio and beginning another teaching cycle.

JEFFERSONVILLE--The Bryan Memorial Gallery celebrates their 30th Anniversary with the 2014 Annual Land & Light & Water & Air exhibit. Two Janet Bonneau paintings are among the New England landscapes chosen for this show. The opening reception will be held Sunday with an artists' roundtable at 2 p.m. and the goodies served 3-5 p.m.
A native vermonter, Ms. Bonneau draws inspiration from the woods and fields around her home in Fairfax. "I don't do photographic paintings," she said. "I like to tell a story on the canvas." Her painting style is impressionistic. She is also President of the Northern Vermont Artists' Association.
"Now I must seriously think about Fall and winter scenes," she said.

MONTGOMERY--The monthly Celebration of Expressive Arts takes over the INN this evening at 7 p.m. ON STAGE LIVE
This month, the featured sculptor is David Stromeyer, a life-long artist who creates large steel sculptures found in the National Building Museum in DC, the Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell, and the Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington, and in Cold Hollow Sculpture Park on the Boston Post Road near Enosburg. The CEA featured writer is Vermont Poet Laureate (1999-2003) Ellen Bryant Voigt. Ashley Nicholls will join husband John Nicholls (of the band Near North) in a rare musical duo of full-bodied, jazzy blues.

BURLINGTON--The Burlington City Arts Film and Concert in the Park presents Mood Indigo plus music by Michele Choiniere in City Hall Park this evening at 6:30 p.m.
Inspired by French novelist Boris Vian's cult novel, the romantic love story stars Audrey Tautou and Romain Duris in a surreal Paris story of a wealthy bachelor with a cocktail-making piano, a whirlwind courtship, and a flower growing in our heroine's lungs.
Ms. Choiniere with Will Patton, Dono Schabner, and David Gusakov adds to the cafe-cabaret culture with authentic, compelling music.
The movies for cinema-lovers, Francophiles, and all who appreciate outdoor summer arts include food trucks from ArtsRiot, film short(s) and a feature, all in City Hall Park. Movies are screened in French with English subtitles.

GEORGIA--The Georgia Fall Festival will be Supercharged! as the day of food and fun and fireworks at the Beach presents Carol Ann Jones and the Superchargers. It all starts at 3 p.m. on Georgia Beach.
The Superchargers have a fresh take on rockabilly, country, rock & roll, bluegrass and contemporary music. The regional band has national performers with Andre Maquera on lead-guitar and backing vocals; Gary Spaulding on drums and percussion; Thom Carvey on bass and sax; Will Patton on bass, steel guitar and mandolin and Carol Ann Jones on lead vocal and acoustic guitar. Ms. Jones' third indie album, Supercharged, is available now.
Don't forget to bring a non-perishable food item for the Georgia Food Shelf.
ST. ALBANS--The Twiggs Comedy For A Cause series continues on the Main Stage Saturday evening at 7 p.m. The evening will raise money to support MAHA Missisquoi Hockey.
Colin Ryan of A Stand Up Life produces the show. Admission is $20. There are just 75 seats available at the restaurant. ST. ALBANS--Summer may be waning but Justice will wax Club Karib with Scott Belisle on bass and backup vocals; Todd Dunn, lead and rhythm guitar; Gary Greeno, lead vocals; Mike Stella, drums; and Scott Guptill, rhythm guitar and backup vocals on Saturday evening at 9:30 p.m.
ST JOHNSBURY--The Nobby Reed Project plays the 10 year anniversary for Kingdom Recovery Center on Saturday at 3 p.m.
EAST FAIRFIELD--The Meeting House on the Green presents a concert with singer/songwriter Patti Casey and banjo and dobro player Steve Light in the final Summer Evenings with Vermont Treasures of the season on Sunday at 7 p.m.
A prolific singer-songwriter, Ms. Casey is the full-time featured vocalist of Woods Tea Company and has her own New England-flavored bluegrassy style. Her latest CD, The Heart of A Waiting Boy, was the fourth most played album on the worldwide folk circuit. A busy performer and music teacher, Mr. Light co-founded the Bluegrass Gospel Project and has won the Craftsbury Common Banjo Contest. Twice.
The 1876 church is an architectural, social, and spiritual anchor of East Fairfield now owned by the non-profit Fairfield Community Center Association for essential services and enrichment programs in the region. These concerts benefit the restoration of this historic landmark for future generations. Come for the music and see the newly restored, re-roofed, and painted bell tower.
