MONTGOMERY--The Montgomery Elementary School hosts a Craft Show on Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Look for pysanky (Ukranian eggs), photography, and hand-painted glassware as well as jams and jellies, mapley goodies, baked goods, honey, and more. Proceeds benefit the school. ART ON THE WALLS

ST ALBANS--The Northwestern Medical Center Gallery hosts photographer David Juaire in a solo show this month. Mr. Juaire is exhibiting a mixture of different seasons with "at least two or three from Vermont Life including a farm in Fletcher from the most recent issue."
The first ever NMC calendar has a dozen images from area photographers (and some hospital info). Mr. Juaire's Metcalf Pond photo graces the cover.
Available at the white house across the street from the hospital.
The show continues through the end of December.
BURLINGTON--The 4th Floor McClure Gallery at FAMC hosts photographer David Griggs in a solo show this month. The show is arranged by Burlington City Arts. Mr. Griggs is exhibiting 13 lucky Vermont landscapes. "I seem to be moving away from my Arizona works," he said.
"One I really like is the Verde Marble Quarry" in southern Vermont.
The show continues for four months.
COLCHESTER--LCATV presents the Ben Patton Family Follies Live in the studio tonight at 7 p.m. ON STAGE LIVE
The concert of songs from the Ben Patton Follies of 2014 features sister Anna Patton, mom Deb Patton, and pop Will Patton with many special guests.

JOHNSON--The Johnson State College World Music Ensemble offers a break from holiday prep in the Dibden Center for the Arts on Friday at 7 p.m.
Faculty, staff, students plus community musicians join for a concert conducted by Steven Light and Bethany Plissey. Music will include the JSC World Music Ensemble performing vocally and playing the Japanese Koto, African mbira, and Javanese gamelan.

ESSEX JUNCTION--On Tap presents the Nightrain Holiday Hootenanny tomorrow evening at 9:30 p.m. Loose Association opens the evening at 5 p.m.
Nightrain has high-energy rocked the Burlington/St. Albans-corridor for a decade with Taylor Arsenault, vocals; Tom Dunn, bass; Eric Halbach, drums; Brad Ravlin, guitar; and Andy Toussaint, guitar and keys.
BURLINGTON--Burlington Town Center presents Fiddleheads with Pascal Gemme in a holiday program on Saturday at 12 noon.
ENOSBURG--Eats of Enosburg restaurant has an evening of Eats 'n Beats in the Holiday Tradition, live music by the Missisquoi River Band and a holiday-themed meal on Saturday with seatings at 6 and 8 p.m. only.
"We schedule on a Saturday night as close to the 15th as possible."
The restaurant is "starting Mary's Donuts up again with her original handcut recipe because we're located in Mary's original house."

ST. ALBANS--The St. Albans Historical Museum presents a special Carol Ann Jones Holiday Concert & Sing Along in the Bliss Room on Saturday at 7 p.m.
The full Carol Ann Jones Quartet brings the classic holiday favorites coupled with some "beautiful songs of the holidays you may not have heard before" plus Ms. Jones' originals in the renovated theater. The Quartet is Ms. Jones on acoustic guitar and lead vocal; Will Patton, bass, mandolin and steel guitar; Dono Schabner, guitars; and Gary Spaulding, percussion.
There will be beverage and treat vendors at the concert.

FAIRFAX--BFA-Fairfax hosts the Fairfax Community Christmas Concert in the New Gym on Sunday at 3 p.m.
The Fairfax, Fletcher, Westford Band plus Sarah Bahr, Catherine Fortier, and Mark Sustic on fiddle will play holiday favorites and lead audience sing-a-longs. Santa will be there.
Admission is free and there will be bake sale refreshments (bring some cash for those).
BURLINGTON--OrchestraChorusPalooza takes over the Flynn main stage as The Vermont Youth Orchestra's three orchestras and two choruses appear on Sunday at 4 p.m.
The annual tradition feature will include VYO senior soloist Jake Dombek performing Mercadante's Flute Concerto in E minor plus works by Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, and Leroy Anderson.
Admission is $12 for adults and $7 for students. Click here for tickets.
FAIRFIELD and HIGHGATE and SWANTON--Three libraries offer a food-and-art program to Build Your Own Gingerbread House this week. FRANKLIN COUNTY BOOKSHELF
The two Highgate Public library culinary extravaganzas are on Saturday at 10 and 11 a.m.
The Swanton Free Public Library assembles glamorous goodies on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
The Bent Northrop Memorial Library architectural effort is on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
The libraries will supply graham crackers, gumdrops, frosting, and other building supplies. All ages are welcome but space is limited. Call Fairfield (802.827.3945), Highgate (802.868.3970), or Swanton (802.868.7656) to register.
FAIRFAX--The Fairfax Community Library is working on creating a logo and a motto or catchphrase for the library. They want to gather some input with a very brief survey.

ST. ALBANS--The St. Albans Free Library hosts a Holiday Open House this evening from 5:30-7:30pm. The event includes crafts, snacks, sleigh rides that begin at the Library and visits with Santa for young and old.
Photographer and journalist CJ Groth lives and works in Key West. Her site includes portfolios of tropical landscapes, Key West scenes, and people, plus her bio and prices, client access (password protected), and contact info.
