ENOSBURG--The Logger, Rusty DeWees, brings his Tour of Comedy and Music to the Opera House at Enosburg Falls on Saturday at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. "LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE"
"I love Enosburg and have bunches of new jokes since last I played there," Mr. DeWees said.
Vermont’s extreme Old-Time Fiddler, Patrick Ross, joins the Logger on stage. He's bringing the fiddle, mandolin, banjo, Telecaster and six string guitar, cello, and his power bow.
The show is presented by the Friends of the Opera House and the Franklin County Home Health Agency as a fundraiser for health and happiness. In addition to the show, Mr. DeWees will run a live auction for gifts from the stage. There will be a 50/50 raffle at the event. Refreshments will be sold and a cash bar will be onsite.

ST. ALBANS--The Artist In Residence Gallery features different artists each month. This month, the spotlight is on John Selmer, Holly Spier, and El Towle. ART ON THE WALLS
The A.I.R. gallery hosts a free meet-the-artists reception with refreshments and a raffle today 4 - 7 p.m. The exhibit continues through the end of May.
The Artist in Residence art cooperative features paintings, fiber arts, stained glass, sculpture, lamps, pottery, folk art boxes, scarves, hats and more by 40 Franklin County and surrounding area artists. It is owned and operated by the artists and sponsors. The gallery, newly reopened at 10 South Main Street, is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Click here for more info.
ST ALBANS--The Northwestern Medical Center Gallery hosts Donna Blatchly beginning Friday. A member of A.I.R., the Milton Artist's Guild, and Vermont Hand Crafters, Ms. Blatchly is exhibiting pebble art.
"I tell stories and make pictures with the pebbles I collect at the beach," she said. "They can be very emotional."
Ms. Blatchly has introduced 3D to her work, adding pebbles, stones, beach glass, twigs, and driftwood. The simple, powerful imagery "has a different impact" on each observer, she said. She also designs hand knit and felted purses, bowls, gift card holders, and bangle bracelets
The show continues through the end of May.
MILTON--The Milton Artist's Guild's new Art Center and Gallery will have its grand opening in the former Hannafords in Milton Town Plaza on Saturday from 2-6 p.m.
The MAG's new physical space to showcase area talent has beautiful paintings, photography, jewelry, pottery, and much much more to browse, buy, and discover studio spaces for rent and lots of gallery exhibits.
The Grand Opening will have special guests and more. Gov. Phil Scott will cut the ribbon at 3 p.m.
MORRISVILLE--The Gallery at River Arts presents Ted Zilius with Sad & Jazz through Tuesday.
Mr. Zilius juxtaposes two different approaches to his mixed media paintings. His older works rely on the content of the collaged images, sometimes combined with words and subtle color, to evoke a feeling or stimulate thought. The new works, or "jazz" pieces, have random collage elements and a livelier palette, with a focus on color, rhythm, timing, and movement. His use of music and movement while working inspires spontaneity and contributes a contrast between the older work and newer pieces. His musical inspirations are wide ranging, from Willie Nelson to Miles Davis.

BURLINGTON--The annual Young Tradition Weekend which showcases young performers of traditional music and dance takes over many locations around Burlington this weekend. ON STAGE LIVE
Each event during the weekend cultivates and features young performers and intergenerational sharing, from concerts to a contra dance showcasing young folks playing with their mentors and teachers. One of the highlights is a contest for acoustic playing and repertoire that is folk/traditional. Contestants compete for about $2,000 in prizes, and the audience helps choose the winners.

ESSEX JUNCTION--On Tap offers Blues Night with the Nobby Reed Project tonight at 7 p.m. Vermont's own blues trio includes Eric Belrose, percussion, Ray Bushey, bass, and Mr. Reed on lead guitar and vocals.

ST. ALBANS--14th Star Brewery presents Chris & Erica at the Brewery on Friday at 6 p.m.
The local duo returns again to the Taproom Stage. They won the 14th Star acoustic performer contest and have opened for Jamie Lee at Higher Ground.
Admission is free.

ST. ALBANS--Twiggs presents The Owl Stars with guests on Friday and All Without The Bass, the acoustic pop trio from Plattsburgh, on Saturday. Shows begin at 7 p.m.

MILTON--The Milton Artists' Guild hosts a Writer's Workshop with Franklin County writer J.P. Choquette in the new Milton Artist's Guild Art Center and Gallery this evening at 6 p.m. FRANKLIN COUNTY BOOKSHELF
From starting the first line to writing, "The End," Ms. Choquette will help create a writing plan, real-life logistics (like how to make the time, where to start, and how to keep going until you finish), as well as answers for book-related questions.
