SWANTON--The cool Art Wall outside the Swanton Village Complex features barn quilts and pinwheels painted by Marie Speer, Heather Buczkowski, Anita Michele Parah, and Katie Foster. ART ON THE WALLS
All of the art walls around Swanton can be painted on by anyone at any time, no permits, permission, or special dispensation required. If you do paint something, please send a picture or tag the Swanton Arts Council on Facebook.
SWANTON--The Swanton Arts Council and David Winchester host an Artist Gathering at Tim's Swanton House of Pizza in the Billard Room downstairs on Saturday at 6 p.m. IN THE SAC
Visit with other creative individuals. Bring artistic items to share or just come to grab some food and/or drink with friends. All are welcome.
SAC will hold an Update Meeting at the Swanton Public Library in the King's Daughter's Room upstairs on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. This is an agenda-free meeting to discuss current and future programs. All are welcome to join in the discussion.

ENOSBURG--The Opera House at Enosburg Falls presents the one-act play, After Math, on Friday at 7 p.m. This is the culmination of Theater Camp #1. IN THE HOUSE
The Opera House hosts Rock Camp for a week of jamming, improv, and rock stardom from June 26-30 at 4-7 p.m. Open to ages 10-15 years, students will learn how to rock and will perform a public concert on June 30.

Thursday ON STAGE LIVE
ST. ALBANS--Summer is finally here! The One Fed Summer Concert Series presents Barbie n Bones rocking the tents this evening at 7 p.m. Jenn and Mark DiNatale play music people can dance to and have a great time doing it. Tearing it up for four years, the band includes Jenn, vocals; Mark, bass; Shawn Hayden, guitar; Damian Roy, drums.
The summer concert series has performers under the tents every Thursday, rain or shine.

ST. ALBANS--Twiggs presents Boston singer/songwriter Ryan Sweezey on Thursday, the Tiny Montgomery Band interpretations of Bob Dylan on Friday, and Thea Wren Live on Saturday. Shows begin at 7 p.m.

ST. ALBANS--Andrea Gagner and Chris Parker turn 25...again with musical accompaniment by Chris and Erica at 14th Star Brewing on Saturday at 6 p.m.
SOUTH BURLINGTON--The Northern Exposure Summer Series returns to Higher Ground with Reid, The Paisley Vibe, and Thunder Kittens on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 8.
The Northern Exposure series provides an opportunity for up-and-coming Vermont bands to take the stage in the Higher Ground Showcase Lounge with three summer Saturdays dedicated to showcasing emerging local talent
Admission is $6. The shows are for all ages and will feature 3-4 acts each.
Higher Ground has created this "farm system" for developing acts to show their stuff at Burlington's top music venue. Artists will be considered to open the larger national acts. Email Bonnie Hiliadis, with the subject line "NORTHERN EXPOSURE: your band name" for more info.
Sunday
EAST FAIRFIELD--Summer Evenings with Vermont Treasures presents Heliand Consort on Sunday at 3 p.m. Note the date and time. This is the only Sunday afternoon show this season.
Heliand Consort is a dynamic group of virtuoso musicians who perform engaging classical music, from the baroque era through 20th century and contemporary repertoire. The core ensemble includes flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and piano.
Admission for all concerts is by suggested donation of $10 per person at the door. All shows support the Meeting House Preservation Project. Beer and wine and refreshments will be for sale at intermission. Call 802.827.6626 to reserve seats and pay at the door. Click here for more info.
Wednesday
MORRISVILLE--The Wednesday Night Live summer music series kicks off its fifth season with the Starline Rhythm Boys in Oxbow Riverfront Park on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. The series continues each week through August 23. The Wednesday farmers market won't be held at the Oxbow this summer, but there will be a rotating mix of food vendors every week, from American barbecue to Nepalese staples.
River Arts' Art Tent will offer fun, creative activities for the community at the music series.

360 XOCHI QUETZAL (July 30)--The Free Winter Artist and Writer's Residency takes place each year on Lake Chapala, Mexico. International writers, playwrights, visual artists, fiber artists, film makers, photographers, new media artists, dancers and musicians are all welcome to apply for a one-month winter residency. CAMBRIDGE FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS (July 31)--The Cambridge Arts Council's ninth annual Festival showcases local art galleries, artists, and musicians in Jeffersonville, VT, on August 12. The booth fee is $40 or $25 for students. Click here for more info and to register.
