Individuals
Literally hundreds of people have volunteered their time and services. The following list
includes most of the event organizers.
- FRANK BARNES, FLOODSTOCK co-chair: not only
suggested the concert, he also named it FLOODSTOCK. Bands, staging,
and a lot of phone calls
- Cora Baker, volunteer coordination
- Eric Belrose, bands, volunteers, and tech
- Joyce Cassidy, non-profit concessions
- Lyndon Corey, insurance
- DICK HARPER, FLOODSTOCK co-chair. Fund
raising, logistics, planning, promotion, and a lot more phone calls
- Dave Kiefner, managed the volunteers, logistics, and displays; did everything,
from rounding up volunteers, to organizing the site, to picking up trash.
- Khea Kiefner, volunteers and volunteer services, ran everywhere and kept
every volunteer happy.
- Kate Kinney, ticket sales and cash accounting
- Natalie LaRocque-Bouchard, logo design, Arts Council volunteers
- Dr. Dan Larrow singlehandedly raised most of the cash for insurance, sheriffs,
and technical expenses, then worked overtime to set up the site.
- Gary Lemieux from the Flynn wired the stages and worried all night.
- Barney Malone, Field Days, planning, and help everywhere
- Jesse Metcalf, community tickets, volunteers and logistics
- Rich Serpe served up a phenomenal publicity effort.
- Ray Tanguay, hospitality area and logistics
- Dan Thompson worked sunup to sunup to keep us safe.
- Martha Rainville, Wayne Pudvah, Ray Laroche, Vermont National Guard
support: built a flatbed stage that equalled any professional concert stage anywhere.
- Bob Washington ("Grover") pulled off the best dual stage production ever.
- SUE WILSON, Manager of the FLB Enosburg office, also directs
the Montgomery Flood Fund.
Dick Harper and Frank Barnes tried to thank everyone personally (and unfortunately
missed some). Many local businesses and groups sent teams we recorded the team name,
but not the individual members. Here's a list of most of the people who made Floodstock such
