Valerie Ugro specializes in Vermont landscapes in Watercolor and Acrylic mediums, and in Artistic Portraits of your home or business.
Born in Texas, Valerie grew up in a coastal Connecticut city. Always a lover of nature and the landscape, she took her first art courses as a college senior, and in the 1970's studied photography to capture the moment that was so fleeting in nature.
A need for a longer, more intense creative interaction led Valerie to painting. She finds clarity and simplification during her artistic journey through the painting experience. The freedom to create an ongoing interaction through the artistic process of painting has been very fulfilling. Valerie works out of her 100 year old school house home and studio.
