Franklin County musicians have released a number of albums recently. In the coming weeks, we'll introduce several of them here and on the new AAC/WLFE Feature Artist Showcase on radio WLFE.
The AAC/WLFE Feature Artist Showcase broadcasts cuts from the Featured Album on Fridays at 8:40 a.m. on Corey Cranston's show on WWSR-1420 AM. Country albums appear on Matt Henry's show on WLFE-102.3 FM
EXCESSIVE BEHAVIOUR #7: DARK HAREM
In a cool switch, Dick made his "DJ" debut to host Coffee Chat and talk about Corey Cranston and Excessive Behaviour's new album, Dark Harem.
Dark Harem features the primary drum work of Jon Schuleit and the guitar of Corey Cranston. Unlike the previous studio albums, some of the tracks were recorded in different spaces by the individual band members and "phoned in"--they emailed their solo sound tracks to Corey who mixed them into the finished cuts. The album has even parts of jazz, rock, and classical music.
