A MIX OF EVERYTHING

The Music of Armand Messier features 14 original songs. "It's a variety of pieces," he said.
The cuts range from classical to pop to soft rock. An Inscription is a soft ballad sung by Katie O'Neill. The song, which takes the view of a dying soldier, won the Enosburg Talent Show in 1997. A classical string quartet performed by Gianna Izzo, Asait Ali, Melissa Brown, and Roy Robinson. The Rain is a "regular five-set soft rock piece," he said.
Armand Messier lives in Highgate. He is an MVU alumnus, was graduated from St Michaels College, and serves as choirmaster for St John's Church in Plattsburg and St Anthony's in Burlington. He and MVU music director Brooke Ostrander are opening a 32-track digital recording studio in Swanton this summer.
St Michaels college produced the album as a class gift to the graduating seniors and to promote the SMC music program. Armand recorded the album at Ad Astra Studio in Williston
