The Arts Council's activities and charitable goals demand an informed and active board of directors. Board of Directors
Each director has six important tasks. Set policy, long term goals, and priorities to meet the mission. Promote the Council's vision and goals to the public. Assure that each project is consistent with those objectives. Help the director and project managers by offering support, counsel, and assistance; hold the director and project managers accountable for performance. Recruit and support members. Fund raise.
The board of directors consists of at least 5 and no more than 15 members who broadly represent business, communications/marketing, dance, education, finance, the law, literary arts, local government, music, theater, and other interests.
