MORRISVILLE--River Arts will celebrate the opening of their two newest exhibits, lsland í Maí: Iceland in May by Liz Nelson and Magic in the Landscape by Cindy Griffith, at the Center this evening from 5 - 7 p.m. ART ON THE WALLS
Admission is free and refreshments plus a cash bar will be served.
SWANTON--The fourth annual Arts & Craft Show at the Auxiliary returns to the American Legion Hall on Saturday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. ART FOR THE WALLS

MONTGOMERY CENTER--The Montgomery Center for the Arts hosts a Pumpkin Carving Party and Autumn Celebration on Saturday at 3 - 6 p.m. IN THE ARTS COUNCILS
Bring pumpkins, carving tools, and a dish of food to share although MCA will have some pumpkins and tools for those without. Pumpkin carvings will be judged in the spirit of fun and a few prizes will be given away plus other surprises, too.
Donations are appreciated.
SWANTON--The Swanton Arts Council Swanton's Got Art show is coming. Artists should drop off their work at the Swanton Municipal Complex on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. or 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. only. Registration forms will be collected when you drop off your artwork off. The opening reception will be held next Friday, November 3.

ST. ALBANS--Northwest Access Television presents the Haunted Hollywood themed premiere of the return of the Northwest Nightmares Film Festival at the Welden Theater on Monday at 6:30 p.m. FILM
Local aspiring film makers have submitted films to "compete for gory glory and terrific prizes." Films will be judged in multiple categories to win prizes and bragging rights.
General admission is $8.

ST. ALBANS--Twiggs presents old school blues player Blue Fox with Piedmont finger-picking and slide guitars on Friday and Summer Sounds favorite and vibrant performing songwriter Mark LeGrand on Saturday. Shows begin at 7 p.m.

ST. ALBANS--14th Star Brewing Company hosts the annual Monster Mash Halloween Party and Costume Competition with live music from Chris & Erica plus DJ Shawn from The Cat Is Back spinning tunes on Saturday at 6 p.m.
ENOSBURG--The Opera House at Enosburg Falls presents the Carpenters Tribute Concert at the House on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Sally Olson, an acclaimed Karen Carpenter sound-a-like and look-a-like, performs hits by the brother-sister duo. Ms. Olson's voice, appearance, and stage-presence is entirely convincing and, combined with state of the art video projection, vintage costumes, historical commentary, and a live band led by Bill Reed, this concert brings Carpenters to life.

ESSEX JUNCTION--Get your backstage pass to be Justified at the Backstage Halloween Bash 2017 on Saturday at 9:30 p.m.
If you "haven't been to a Justice Halloween Party, get your best costume on and let your inner child out, as they rock some of the best costumed party animals this side of the border. Grab your pumpkin, ghoul, goblin or sexy school teacher and come join the fun."

MONTGOMERY--The monthly Celebration of Expressive Arts takes over the INN on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. The event officially includes everything but dancing, but there is always hope. Come early for dinner; service begins at 5 p.m.
This month, Wendell Hughes is the featured musician; Michael Clookey is the featured artist; and Creston Lea is the featured writer. The local artists, writers and musicians gather to share original and thought provoking work, curated and hosted by Bob and Becca Cummins.

SOUTH Hero--Camp Ta-Kum-Ta needs handy volunteers for a special project at the camp on Friday from 7:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. CAMP TA-KUM-TA
They have built a 42' wide x 16' deep pool house on a new slab. Now they need more folks to join the Homebuilders and Remodelers Association of Northern Vermont as they work to install windows, doors, a metal roof, and build and install the cubbies.
